Description
Kachura discovers that at the war's outset, the elder Volsky, along with a partner, was escorting a shipment of gold bullion from the bank. The shipment never arrived, and it's strongly suspected Volsky senior stashed it. Kachura's father-in-law owes a substantial sum to some very dangerous individuals. They kidnap the lieutenant's wife, demanding Darya Mikhasevich in exchange for her release.
