Description
The Great Patriotic War. An Alpine factory, churning out war machinery with the forced labor of POWs, is hammered by nightly bombing raids. Amidst the chaos, five prisoners seize their chance and make a desperate break for freedom. Among them is a Russian soldier, Ivan. He alone manages to slip away into the mountainous wilderness. High in the Alps, Ivan encounters Giulia, an Italian woman, who has also escaped captivity.
