Description
Landscape designer Varvara Krasnova arrives at a seaside house to redesign the garden. But during the night, the homeowner dies. Investigator Malinin discovers that someone in the house poisoned him. A vial of poison is found with Varvara, although everyone had a motive for murder. After the will is read, suspicions deepen—Varvara is revealed to be both the heir and the murdered man’s illegitimate daughter. Trapped, Varvara must clear her name. Malinin believes in her innocence, and together they uncover the truth: the homeowner’s wife and stepson killed him. They lured Varvara into the trap to frame her for the murder of her father.
