Description
That evening, Boris—the owner of the house—reveals to Varvara that she is his illegitimate daughter, born to a mother he despises. Varvara wants to leave, but Boris is found dead. Detective Malinin forbids anyone from leaving the house until the autopsy results are in. Varvara discovers a vial with an unknown liquid among her belongings. The next morning, Malinin announces that Boris Somov was poisoned with an unidentified substance.
