Description
Anya Karpushina, a quality control technician at a small-town vodka distillery, disgusted by the substandard product, secretly crafts a batch using an old family recipe. This act of defiance lands her with a million-ruble fine and unemployment. To pay the debt, Anya, aided by two loyal friends, embarks on a daring scheme to sell two thousand bottles of her illicit, superior vodka. The root of Anya's troubles is Igor Proskudin, the arrogant Moscow-based CEO, a young, high-flying businessman. When the town is flooded with this remarkably smooth, underground vodka, he sets out to find and punish the "moonshiners," only to fall for Anya, who has already been discovered and apprehended thanks to his own investigation.
