Description
Card player's wife kills the head of the railroad supply office. Investigators are looking for her children. Ganin is sure that the chief of the port security, Lavrentiev, who covers sea smuggling, is involved in this. Everyone is afraid of Lavrentiev in town, no one will testify against him.
