Description
1947. Ganin is a former famous military correspondent, who did not find his place in peacetime. On the day of his 35th birthday, Ganin receives a letter announcing the death of his father. Ganin never knew him, however, due to circumstances, he goes to the post-war Vyborg, where he finds out that his father's death was violent. Investigating the facts of his father's death, Ganin meets the captain of the local criminal investigation department Kazantsev.
